Mama Moe’s Beloved Family

Mike & Tammy Milligan

Mike and Tammy were our first customers in 1992-

We were cleaning and stocking on our opening day when Mike and Tammy asked if we would consider sponsoring their men's softball team. We had no money to our name, but we wrote them a check nonetheless something about these two people made me feel good. They continued to say they would bring their team in for after-game parties, and they were true to their word, they had birthday parties, baby showers, family parties, and the list goes on-

So in honor of Mike Milligan, we are naming a pizza after his favorite

The Milligan special #55--- all-meat pizza with ranch sauce

We love you so much Tammy and we hope you know how grateful my kids and I are to know you, and for you to be a part of our lives

"You guys were the first people to sponsor mikes team, and help him live his dreams" - Tammy Milligan

Pat Day

Pat Day… Where to begin? Well, for starters this incredible man has been a customer of Miner Moe’s Pizza since the day we opened. He and his family have been a part of our pizza family for years.

Pat and his lovely wife, Kristi, came into our parlor for one of their first dates back in 1996. They passed on their love of Mama Moe’s Pizza onto their children. Their son, Tanner, brought his wife into Miner Moe’s for their first date back in 2019. Their daughter, Taylor, worked for me for years, and quickly became like a second daughter to me. She was one of the few people who I was comfortable with babysitting my children when they were young. We adore this family and are so grateful to have them in our circle.

Pat works for KNCO radio in Grass Valley, and often talks about Miner Moe’s. He has joked for years about the Pat Day Special. We have decided the time is long overdue to honor our beloved Pat, and his family, by officially introducing the Pat Day Special to our menu. Now Available! Featuring garlic sauce, pepperoni, pepperoncinis, pine nuts.

Art Ellis

Art, is a wonderful human, he's helped me and my business in so many ways that will last forever. when I moved from my first location of 15 years, Art came to the rescue with many other community members, and helped me rebuild my new place of business here in Nevada City. I have all the love in the world for him. We have a very tasty pizza named after him for his hard work and help throughout the years.

Bart Koski

22 Years of dedication working for my business. He's not only my longest-running employee, he's also my longest-running handyman. Bart is there for me for whatever I need, whether that be maintenance, repairs, or just a helping hand for me and my kids, I could not possibly be more grateful for such a wonderful man! We've honored his work here to the public, Bart's BBQ pizza is on the menu, and won't be going anywhere.
